Abhinav Pandey was born on November 02, 1988 in New Delhi, India where he also grew up and did his schooling. He is a B. Tech. (IIT Roorkee), MS (USC USA), and PhD (IIT Roorkee) in Mechanical Engineering. He has published multiple technical articles in reputed journals and conferences. He holds various technical accreditations including Certified Manufacturing Engineer (SME), Accredited Professional (IGBC), Energy Manager and Auditor (BEE), and others.
He started his career as a project engineer, project manager and team leader at Nestle (2010) where he contributed to building new and expanding existing factories. Subsequently, he founded PMG Engineering (2015) which provides state-of-the-art engineering services for food industry factory projects. PMG takes end-to-end ownership of building food factories the right way, from basic design to detail engineering, procurement, and construction, until commissioning and handover to the operations team. At PMG, he has directly managed 250+ projects, or cumulatively USD 1B+ capital investments. This includes 75+ greenfield projects, 100+ factory expansion projects, and 100+ factory upgradation projects in over 100+ locations in 15+ countries.
He also leads Krishna Anand Foundation, a not-for-profit NGO that works on initiatives focusing on empowering lives, food literacy, and skill development.
He is an academic by heart, plays good badminton and loves travelling, reading, programming, and listening to good music.
