Jacqueline Jackson is the author of "Holistic Trauma Healing: Strategies to Integrate the Body, Mind, and Spirit". A trauma-informed wellness educator, yoga teacher/trainer, speaker, peer parent facilitator, and cancer survivor program facilitator, she is passionate about helping people reconnect with their innate capacity for healing, resilience, and wellbeing.
Drawing on a background in social work and journalism—as well as her own experiences navigating trauma, caregiving, and cancer survivorship—Jackie brings a grounded, compassionate perspective to her work. She serves as a group facilitator with Other Parents Like Me, a national online support network for caregivers of children facing mental health challenges, and has facilitated the Livestrong at the Y cancer survivor program.
Since 2001, Jackie has shared mindfulness, stress reduction, and resilience-building practices with thousands of people in healthcare, community, educational, and wellness settings, both in person and online. Her work integrates Somatic EMDR, mindfulness, trauma-informed yoga, nervous system regulation, and practical self-care strategies to help individuals cultivate lasting wellbeing.
