YK Flores (also known as Yeimy Walker) is a Latina speculative fiction author blending archaeology, cosmic horror, and slow‑burn character drama. Her debut novel, Keeper of Echoes, introduces the Echo Horizon series — a universe shaped by forgotten origins, ancient warnings, and the crew who becomes family along the way.

Writing under her real name, Yeimy also creates children’s books inspired by her immigration story from El Salvador to Canada and the rescue animals who transformed her life. Her work across genres is connected by one thread: stories about finding home, identity, and meaning in unexpected places.

She lives in Canada, with her family and a small pack of very opinionated pets.
