Angy and Paul are two good friends brought together by a shared passion for great food and a love for trying new things in the kitchen.
They’re the authors of two original and much-loved books on Amazon: Zucchini Gourmet and Panini e Focacce con Salumi Gourmet. Their books keep winning over more and more readers thanks to their simple, down-to-earth, and mouthwatering style that celebrates the joy of home cooking with a creative twist.
They’re not professional chefs — and they’ll be the first to say it — but they cook every day with heart, mostly for friends and family. When they eat out, they enjoy chatting with chefs, exchanging ideas, and learning from each other in a friendly and inspiring way. Their cooking is born out of everyday life: living room chats, last-minute lunches, and dinners shared with loved ones, where each dish is a chance to experiment, tell a story, and enjoy the moment.
Angy has a true love for vegetables. She has a natural talent for turning the simplest ingredients into colorful, tasty, and surprising dishes. She’s the creative spirit behind Zucchini Gourmet, a book that started almost by accident one summer when the zucchini just kept coming. Instead of getting bored, she challenged herself to come up with a new recipe every day. Paul began photographing them, tasting them (very happily!), and, of course, writing them down.
Paul, on the other hand, has a real passion for sandwiches — but not your average bar-style ones. His are little masterpieces of balance, where every ingredient is chosen with care and tells a story. Panini e Focacce con Salumi Gourmet is the result of years of experimenting, trips to local delicatessens, and delicious, finger-licking lunches. Paul loves to play with bold flavors, homemade bread, and surprising combinations that still feel just right.
Together, Angy and Paul make a great team.
When Angy and Paul are not cooking, you’ll often find them traveling — especially around Italy — hunting for local specialties, artisanal cured meats, seasonal produce, traditional cheeses, and fresh inspiration for their next dishes.
Today, they’re still writing, cooking, and creating new recipes. They’ve got more projects in the pipeline — more books, maybe a blog, or even a small workshop space where they can meet readers and cook together.
If you ever flip through one of their books, know this: behind every photo and every line there are real moments — laughter, messy kitchens, the smell of fresh bread, and a deep love for food and togetherness. And maybe, just maybe, a glass of wine sipped in the kitchen while waiting for the oven to work its magic.
