Dr. Asad Ali

Asad Ali is a US-trained pediatrician, pediatric infectious disease specialist, and public health scientist, serving as a Professor of Pediatrics and Community Health Sciences at The Aga Khan University in Pakistan. He has spent decades working on the front lines of poverty in the developing world, particularly in Pakistan. His extensive research and direct community engagement have provided him with a profound understanding of why past interventions have fallen short.

This deep experience inspired him to write "Poverty to Prosperity: A Blueprint for Change," a book that offers a fresh perspective on sustainable solutions to extreme poverty. Ali introduces the Public-Entrepreneurial Partnership (PEP) framework, advocating for a dynamic collaboration between governments and for-profit businesses to drive lasting social and economic change.

Through his work and this book, Asad Ali aims to provide a clear blueprint for a more equitable and prosperous world, grounded in real-world insights and actionable strategies.
