Noah Baer

Noah Baer is a science communicator, researcher, and author of When The Heavens Go Quiet: Science, Skepticism, and the End of Certainty. His work focuses on understanding how belief systems take shape—across religion, culture, and modern secular thought—and how science can help us navigate uncertainty.

With an academic background in biology and chemistry, along with additional studies in ecology and sustainability, Baer approaches these questions with curiosity and a commitment to evidence-based thinking.

Outside of writing and research, Baer enjoys working with students on projects that promote science communication, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
