Raymond Lee Evans (b. February 10, 1971) is a seasoned musician, Army veteran, and storyteller whose life has been marked by resilience, faith, and soulful expression. Raised in Atlanta, GA, by his loving parents Jerry and Dianne and four siblings, Raymond grew up in a household filled with vibrant energy, strong values, and music echoing through every room.
A natural leader and creative spirit, he balanced JROTC achievements—including Lieutenant Colonel honors and a spot on his high school’s wall of fame—with an unwavering passion for music. His Army career spanned major operations like Desert Storm and Operation Uphold Democracy, but his heart found its rhythm when he reclassified into the U.S. Army Band, combining service with song.
Through life’s highs and heartbreaks, including divorce, remarriage, and soul-searching prayers, Raymond has remained grounded by faith, family, and the healing power of melody. Today, he continues to inspire others with his story—a testament to the beauty of perseverance, laughter, and living life with a full heart.
