Adam Zurn

Adam Zurn is a Pennsylvania-based teacher, author, and the creator of Uncharted Lancaster—a local history platform that blends storytelling, exploration, and adventure. Through immersive writing and creative fieldwork, Adam brings Lancaster County’s forgotten past to life, one mysterious landmark at a time.

He is the author of Uncharted Lancaster: Field Guide to the Strange, Storied, and Hidden Places of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, a full-color explorer’s companion to the county’s most fascinating historic sites, and Uncharted Lancaster’s Ghosts, Monsters, and Tales of Adventure, a collection of eerie legends and true stories rooted in local lore.

Adam also wrote the children’s book Canassatego and His Six Arrows, which introduces young readers to the wisdom of the Iroquois leader whose ideas helped shape the foundation of the United States.

He lives in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where he continues to explore its rivers, ruins, and remarkable stories—often with a camera, a notebook, and an insatiable curiosity.
