Pat McCashin

Pat McCashin is an archaeologist, athlete, and author of The Momhak Method—a transformative system blending ancient wisdom with modern neuroscience. After years of struggling with alcohol addiction, Pat discovered that real healing came not from sitting still, but from moving forward—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Drawing on two decades of fieldwork and a lifelong passion for human transformation, Pat blends neuroscience with lived experience to help others reset their nervous systems and reconnect with what matters most. His journey has ranged from remote rainforest excavations to performing nightly fire dives in a European circus—each experience reshaping his understanding of fear, movement, and transformation.

He now lives and writes on the wild coast of British Columbia, where nature, movement, and simplicity guide his path. When he’s not writing, you can find him surfing, hiking, or practicing what he preaches: simple, intentional living connected to nature and purpose.
