John Sajdak is an international accounts manager based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. For over 40 years, he has worked alongside individuals with disabilities—as a caregiver, coach, supervisor, trainer, and volunteer guardian. His life has been filled with long runs, long flights, and a long list of pets: Bijou, Lucia, Munchkin, Theodore, Big, Marco, Frankie, and more. (Some just stopped by. Others stayed forever—in memory or in fur.) He’s completed four Ironman triathlons and once time-qualified for the Boston Marathon. He still runs, still laughs, and still turns on two faucets for a certain very opinionated tabby. This is his first book. But the dream? The dream has been there all along.
