Michael Lumbi

A 16-year-old first-generation American with Nicaraguan and Salvadoran ancestry, Michael Lumbi is becoming a prominent figure in the field of youth financial literacy. He combines education, entrepreneurship, and service to empower students worldwide. He currently holds a 4.3 GPA and a strong interest in business and finance.

He is the author of Beyond the Allowance and the founder of Funded Futures, a youth-led nonprofit organization that offers free financial education workshops to underprivileged teenagers. In addition to coding, volunteering, and giving talks to classes about money management and mindset, he has created budgeting apps from scratch, sold hundreds of units through his Depop storefront, and is currently the president of his school's weightlifting club. Michael intends to pursue finance at a top college, start scalable businesses, and popularize wealth education for the following generation.
