Vaishnavi Dukhande

Vaishnavi Dukhande is a children’s book illustrator from Mumbai, “The City of Dreams,” where her love for art was born. The city’s vibrant energy, culture, and constant movement fuel her imagination. Growing up, her mother was a librarian, and she introduced Vaishnavi to the world of books, igniting her passion for literature. Little Vaishnavi was inspired by cartoons and illustrated books, and she spent hours recreating her favourite characters. After years of practice and self-study, she developed a whimsical and engaging style. While Vaishnavi primarily works digitally, she also enjoys creating oil paintings in her spare time and loves listening to podcasts while she works. When not in her studio, Vaishnavi can be found trekking in the mountains or getting lost in a good fantasy–thriller novel. Her adventurous spirit inspires her creativity, allowing her to bring imaginative worlds to life through her illustrations.
