Robert Macieski

Robert Macieski teaches American History at UConn and European History Fairfield University. Macieski is a Fulbright veteran, serving in 2004 as Nikoley Sivachev Distinguished Chair at Moscow State University. Historian on dozens of exhibitions in New England, he is most proud of his Dorr Rebellion exhibit, "Might and Right" at the Rhode Island Historical Society. He teaches labor and urban, black and women’s history, public history and radical history. For twenty-three years Professor Macieski directed an MA program in Museum Studies at UNH, Today he lives in and loves Black Rock, Bridgeport, CT.
