Matthew Metcalfe

Matt Metcalfe is a physics teacher, youth mentor, and lifelong adventurer. With a background in outdoor education and leadership development, he now works at a British international school in China, where he supports students to plan better, lead themselves, and grow with purpose. Matt also trains educators across China as part of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.

From mountain expeditions to ocean crossings, Matt has always believed in learning through challenge. As a teacher, father, and former Army officer, he brings practical tools and lived experience into everything he creates.

He built The Student Gameplan in order to help more young people use their time wisely, build better habits, and create lives they’re proud to lead.
