Jennifer Morwen

Jennifer Morwen is a small-dog guardian, DIY maker, and off-grid homebody who shares a little patch of countryside with her partner, a handful of tools, and a pack of spoiled Cavaliers.

Her passion for small dogs began long before she moved off the grid, but living closer to nature changed everything: she started cooking from scratch, growing part of her own food, and questioning what went into her dogs’ bowls. That curiosity led her deep into canine nutrition, homemade recipes, and simple habits that keep little dogs healthy for the long run.

When she’s not in the kitchen chopping vegetables for the next batch of dog food, you’ll usually find her in the workshop. Jennifer loves experimenting with epoxy resin, turning scraps of wood, metal and found objects—often courtesy of her partner, who works with wood and steel—into colorful, practical pieces for their home.

Whether she’s writing about small-dog health or beginner-friendly craft projects, Jennifer has the same goal: to help ordinary people create a more hands-on, intentional life for themselves and their animals.
