Antoinette Thompson

Hello everyone. I'm Antoinette Thompson (Annie)

From a young age, I dreamt of becoming either an FBI agent or an artist. I was drawn most to art, especially portrait drawing, which I began around age nine. In high school, I excelled in art, and though I wasn't sure what I wanted to do after graduation, I knew I loved it.

As I got older, I developed an interest in Graphic Design. The Art Institute of Washington stood out to me as an excellent school in a beautiful area. When I realized my GPA was too low to enroll, a helpful admittance counselor suggested I write letters explaining why I wanted to attend and why I should be accepted. After submitting my heartfelt letters, I received an acceptance and started the following semester.

As a passionate author and illustrator, I took great pride in hand-drawing all the main characters for my children's book. After ensuring their originality was protected through copyright, I then collaborated with skilled digital artists to transform these hand-drawn illustrations into vibrant, engaging visuals for publication, bringing my creative vision to life for young readers.

I am an author and writer of seven wonderful children's books: *SHOOT for the STARS!*, *Spyke's Space Journey*, *BUTTERSCOTCH the ARCHAEOLOGIST*, *THE ART of BUTTERSCOTCH*, *Spyke the Chef*, *The Children's Dreams and Adventures Series* (Book

5), and *SQUEAKY "the Scoundrel" GONZALEZ*.

I am thrilled and deeply honored that the prestigious Len Spadaro: L & P Publishing, LLC, has chosen to publish my books, bringing my literary vision to life.
