Víctor Abreu

Víctor Abreu was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 1983. Founder of the SDQ Lee bookstore chain, he has spent years sharing his love for books with readers of all ages. A passionate reader since the age of nine, he has journeyed through thousands of pages with the devotion of someone who knows that the best ways to inhabit the world are hidden in literature. A restless poet at heart and a storyteller with a fondness for the fantastic, he has written over a thousand poems that will one day see the light. He is the author of Lovecraft for Children, a bold reimagining of cosmic horror for new generations, and of the practical guide How Productive People Manage Their Time: 100 Tips to Make You Better. He is also the editor of Dos Gatas Editorial, a publishing house from which he supports emerging voices, revives classics, and shapes literary projects with a critical eye and artisanal sensitivity. A translator from English and an eternal seeker, Víctor doesn’t just write: he builds bridges between books, authors, and readers, believing that literature isn’t sold — it’s shared.
