As a co-founder of Excellence Talks, the world’s largest community for business excellence with half a million followers, he brings together decision-makers, subject matter experts, and companies. Through Excellence Talks and other platforms, he fosters the exchange of excellence, innovation, and best practices, significantly shaping the evolution of this field.

In addition to his cross-industry consulting work, he is the co-founder of Excellence Squad (XSQ), a consulting firm dedicated exclusively to the life sciences sector. XSQ helps pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies navigate quality and regulatory challenges, operational transformations, and business excellence initiatives.

His career includes leadership positions at Unilever and GC Europe. During his tenure at GC Europe, he led profound transformations that contributed to the company winning the EFQM Global Excellence Award in 2019—a historic achievement for the medical technology industry and a subsidiary of a Japanese corporation.

With a strong academic foundation—a Bachelor in Engineering, a Master of Engineering in Technical Management, and an Executive MBA from Vlerick Business School, Murat combines deep expertise with practical implementation.
