James Chance

James Chance has always been haunted by monsters. Everyone has some kind of creature inside them. Everyone is a little dark and strange. His stories explore how our monsters make us human–and what we should do about it. Drawing from a background in nonprofit finance and sociology, he strives to forge understanding between people in an increasingly weird world. He lives in Southern California with his family of rescues (animals included).
