My writing flows from two great rivers: a love for the untamed wildness of fantasy and a scholar's dedication to understanding the world as it is.

As the author of the Legends of the Shifting Realm series, my inspiration is drawn from the rugged landscapes I explore while hiking and camping. It's the heart of the wilderness that provides the blueprints for the intricate societies, power struggles, and epic tales that fill my imagined worlds. These are realms born of adventure—both of the body and the mind.

As a non-fiction author, I approach my work with the discerning eye of a historian and the probing mind of a philosopher. My writing is a quest for truth that is driven by a deep-seated need to illuminate the powerful forces that shape society. Drawing from my graduate-level scholarships, I use historical context and philosophical inquiry to deconstruct the great challenges of our time—inviting readers into a richer and more thoughtful understanding of their world.
