Angela Iannarelli was born in Senise, in the province of Potenza, Southern Italy. A poet and writer from Lucania, she first caught the public’s attention in 2021 with her poem The Pain of a Mother, which won the contest “There’s Only One Mom” and was published in the collection Gli Scrittori della Porta Accanto (PubMe).
In 2023, she released Saturnia, a poetry collection published by Another Coffee Stories, dedicated to the female universe and its many facets—myth, vulnerability, and strength. That same year, she made her fiction debut with The Hunt – The First Investigation of Andreina Serri, a psychological thriller that marked the beginning of a new creative phase and earned her selection for the Campiello First Work Prize and the Piemonte Film Festival.
In February 2025, she returned to poetry with Cronocentrica, an intense and visionary work that secured her a place among the participants in the prestigious Strega Poetry Prize.
