Alicia Dawn

Alicia Dawn was born and raised in Oregon under the weight of addiction, abuse, and generational trauma. She learned early how to mother her siblings, walk on glass, and smile through hell. Today, she is a wife and mother in the Pacific Northwest, where she finds peace in the woods, strength in her faith, and freedom in the written word.

Her debut novel, Trading Prisons, was born from grief. In 2024, her close friend and former strip club manager, Mack McFadden, was writing his own memoir when he was killed in a motorcycle accident. He never got to finish his story. Alicia released hers on the one-year anniversary of his death.
