Dr. Alan Zollman is a quintessential role model for education. He grew up on a modest farm in rural Indiana, beginning his education in a two-room schoolhouse. Today Alan is a Senior Distinguished Professor of Secondary Mathematics Education, Indiana University Southeast. He is Past-President of the School Science and Mathematics Association, Past Vice-President of the Research Council on Mathematics Learning, and Faculty Emeritus of Northern Illinois University’s Department of Mathematical Sciences.
