Dan Moore earned BS and MS degrees in Geology at Brigham Young University and a PhD in Geology with an emphasis in experimental geochemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His professional interests include high-temperature geochemistry, deep time, philosophy of science, science and religion, and transhumanism. He has served as an academic leader in his department, university, and professional organizations. Dr. Moore has lived in California, Canada, Idaho, Argentina, Utah, New York, Maryland, and Virginia.
