Toby Haseler

Toby is an artist, teacher, and creative adventurer who believes anyone can learn to sketch—and enjoy the process. Known for his loose, expressive style, Toby teaches both online and in-person workshops that make drawing feel approachable, joyful, and deeply personal. His courses and books are designed to build confidence, spark creativity, and encourage people to see the world differently—one sketch at a time.

When he’s not sketching with ink and watercolour or guiding students through perspective and mark-making, you’ll probably find him running through the countryside, brewing strong coffee in his beloved moka pot, or hanging out with his dog, who often features in his work (and his day-to-day life).
