The Marriage of Marjorie Wallace by Lynne Stone

I have been writing for some years, this novel is my first. A story inspired by a wall of random photographs at a writing workshop. I was drawn to a black and white picture of a bride and groom on the steps of a registry office. I was struck by the unhappy expression on the bride’s face. I imagined her secrets and my novel was born. It is the story of a strong woman marrying a weak man for the wrong reasons. My heroine eventually has a happy ending and true love wins through.

My writing career started after retirement and includes -

Scriptwriting for local radio Express FM. This was a soap called Conway St, which aired three times a week. Project ran from 2010 to 2012.

Being included in anthologies by Writers of Lovedean .Now Springwood Writers
