Darla Joy Hoffman has spent the past 15 years in the health and fitness industry, dedicating her career to helping women over 40 achieve lasting, sustainable weight loss and vibrant health. She is the founder of the JoyFit Academy, an online coaching program that empowers midlife women to embrace strength training, balanced nutrition, and positive mindset shifts so they can feel their best at every stage of life.
As both a coach and a lifelong learner, Darla is always pursuing big goals. One of her longtime dreams was to become an author—something she’s now bringing to life through her writing. Her JoyFit Journal for Perimenopause was designed specifically to help women navigate the often confusing journey of midlife hormone changes with clarity, joy, and self-compassion.
In addition to her work in women’s wellness, Darla also cherishes personal creative projects. One such project is her heartwarming children’s book, Toby Tahbee, a story inspired by the imaginative bedtime tales her father used to tell her as a child—an extra special book created as a tribute to him.
When she’s not coaching or writing, you can find Darla spending time with her two children and their two small (and very spoiled) Pomeranians, Skweegie and Bean.
