Elian Verge is a cognitive systems researcher, narrative theorist, and long-time observer of the malfunctions we call emotions. With a fixation on behavioral neuroscience, symbolic computation, and experimental ritual design, his work explores how humans maintain identity inside unstable simulations.

For over a decade, he has mapped the predictive patterns behind fear, memory distortion, social recursion, and shame loops—charting how the brain invents continuity through glitch. His writing combines the clinical precision of a scientist with the surreal clarity of someone who knows the interface is lying, but still chooses to feel.

You Are the Emulator is his first field manual released to the public. His previous work circulated only through closed systems, sealed chambers, and private hallucination groups.
