Dr. Manuel “Dr. Manny” Ferrer is a two-time Teacher of the Year, recipient of the Chappie James Most Promising Teacher Award, and former school administrator who grew up in Little Havana and returned to teach at the same middle school that helped shape his future. The first in his family to attend college, he went on to earn a doctorate in education and co-founded a multimillion-dollar education company serving over 100,000 students nationwide. He later helped grow an edtech company focused on supporting students with Autism, leading it through national expansion and successful acquisitions.
