Lakisha Ferrigan

Lakisha Ferrigan is a proud mother of four, children’s book author, and creative force behind KCVC Publishing. With a background in Business Administration and certification as a Medical Laboratory Assistant Technician (MLAT), Lakisha brings both heart and hustle to everything she creates.

She is best known for her heartwarming picture book Chanel Gets Ready for Grade One, co-authored with her daughter Chanel, as well as culturally rich and educational coloring books like Jamaica’s ABC Harvest: Fruits and Veggies from A to Z. Her work celebrates family, faith, self-love, and cultural identity—designed to empower and inspire young readers and their families.

Whether she's crafting joyful adventures or helping readers wind down with faith-based affirmation coloring books, Lakisha is passionate about storytelling that uplifts and educates. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her spending time with her kids, dreaming up her next project, or spreading positivity through her books.
