James a. Harrell

James A. Harrell is a retired geology professor at the University of Toledo. His principal areas of research have been the rocks and minerals used in Egypt and the surrounding areas in antiquity as well as the ancient mines and quarries that supplied these stones. He has written extensively on these topics over the past 35 years and recently, drawing on both his adventures in the Middle Eastern deserts and his love of science fiction, he published his first science fiction novel. He lives in Toledo, Ohio with his clowder of cats.
