Growing up all over Michigan, you can see life from many different points of view. In high school, I wrote a lot of poetry. A few years ago, in my spare time, I decided to take that passion and turn it into writing something other than just poetry. I decided to try and take a stab at writing a few chapters of a story. In my spare time, I turned that story into my first book.

The Unraveling Series is my debut series, bringing you my first book, Just A Girl Named River.

Well, there isn't much to tell. I am married with four grown children. I currently have a hyper puppy I rescued. I also surrounded myself with a bunch of kitty cats. I love to travel. Find places to adventure into, and sightsee that are not tourist attractions. If I can find something on a map off a dirt road, I want to explore it. That's the best way to get inspired.

I am a domestic violence survivor. I believe in spreading mental health awareness and the signs of abusive relationships. It is also important to educate on illnesses that are not well-known, for example, Fibromyalgia. I was recently diagnosed with this, and it seems to be very hard for people to understand what I am going through, or what others are going through who have this.
