Chris Curran

Chris Curran is a product of the Liberties in Dublin, and who grew up witnessing the heroin infestation of his community, against the backdrop of conflict in the North of Ireland and the terror of the AIDS epidemic. It was a time when political corruption was rife and gay men were criminals in the eyes of the law.

A first-time novelist with a background campaigning for social change and public service, Chris examines our societal conditioning. In a series of tragic and comical stories, he shows how this conditioning creates inner conflict and contributes towards poor mental health.
