Jason Chang

Jason Chang is the pen name of a group of friends who came together to write "Witness".

The friends come from diverse backgrounds and cultures met while working on a start-up in New Zealand.

Taking a brief break from their main project, the team decided to channel their energy into creating a story that would help them reflect on their goals and how to move forward in life.

They decided they would start with a first book called "Witness" and if it was well received they would write the rest of the story as a series.

The team members have in a love for reading comics and manga, as well as being avid fans of Louis Cha (also known as Jin Yong) and his Legend of the Condor Heroes series.

As IT nerds, they are all naturally introverted and not the best at writing literature, but they share a passion for storytelling.

This admiration for Jin Yong’s work inspired the idea for the book which tries to answer their question: What would it be like if there was a supernatural element added to a martial arts themed story.
