Sam Bradley-Green is an author, historian, and Assistant Headteacher based in Bolton, Lancashire. With a deep-rooted passion for football, particularly its rich heritage in the North West, Sam brings a unique perspective to the stories that have shaped the region’s sporting identity.

A proud contributor to Bolton Wanderers media coverage, Sam is well known for his insightful and engaging articles that celebrate the club’s legacy and connect past triumphs with the present day. His academic background includes a First Class dissertation focused on the Burnden Park Disaster — a poignant and powerful piece of research that reflects his dedication to preserving football history with accuracy and empathy.

When he's not writing or working in education, Sam is a keen runner and an avid follower of football across all levels. His debut book, Measured Spirit, explores the cultural and historical fabric of not just Bolton Wanderers, but North West football and will hopefully mark the beginning of what promises to be a compelling series.
