Dr. Doug Howe

Dr. Douglas Howe launched The Howe Team two decades ago to provide executive coaching, management consulting and team training for leaders and managers of companies and non-profits. His team works in the non-administrative side of H.R., providing what software cannot. He’s also the Founding Director of the Insignia Foundation, focused on “becoming better versions of ourselves,” and offering life coaching and creative conflict resolution services to those who need it the most and can access it the least.

Doug’s professional experience includes Mergers & Acquisitions, Succession Planning, Chief People Officer, and Financial Services, having served clients such as Procter & Gamble, AK Steel, Duke Energy, Carespring Health Care, Phillips Tube Group and several other privately held companies. His non-profit clients have included Make-A-Wish, Young Life, Anthony Munoz Foundation, and multiple private schools and faith-based organizations. He was the Founding Pastor of Horizon Community Church and Teaching Pastor of two other churches.

As a public speaker, Doug’s many presentations include venues as large as The Greek Theater and Walt Disney World, and as small as corporate boardrooms and off-site meeting settings. Doug’s earned his Doctorate from the Rawlings Divinity School at Liberty University, after completing his Masters’ work in Theology and Leadership at Fuller.

Doug has written or ghost-written four prior books. His anecdotal highlights including finishing the N.Y. Marathon, coaching his daughters’ championship teams, and election to the City of Burbank Athletic Walk of Fame. Most importantly, Doug and Denise are celebrating their 40th anniversary, having raised their four adult children in Southern Cal and Cincinnati.
