Ce Mackenzie

Mackenzie is the award-winning author of several essays and their debut book, "Achy Affects: Crisis and Compositions of Selfhood." They grew up in the Detroit suburbs, spent formative years on Michigan’s west coast before moving to the west West Coast. Living in Oregon introduced them to harm reduction, a love for coniferous trees, and (most importantly) their wife. They are currently the post doc and program coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh Humanities Center, wherein they collaborate with multi-disciplinary scholars, activists, and artists across local and international communities.

Mackenzie and their wife, young child, and pup now live in Pittsburgh, PA.
