Hugo Morasso

Hugo Morasso was born in 1998.

With a background in political science and economics, and occasional actor, he began writing in 2021, at the age of 23.

Soledad is his first novel.

The story of a young man who travels to Mexico to escape — from others, from himself, from a nameless void — and returns with more questions than answers. Blending dark humor, the harshness of reality and bursts of tenderness, this book explores human cracks, escapes, and that strange way we sometimes have of finding ourselves by getting lost.

Hugo Morasso lives in Paris. He works, he writes, he observes — and sometimes, he disappears.
