Eloise Narrigan

Eloise Narrigan is a children’s illustrator inspired by animals, food, handmade objects, and the jobs that make up a neighborhood.

She specializes in colorful, funny, and richly detailed animal characters and their communities. Eloise loves to introduce her audience to lesser-known species, and also loves to reintroduce people to often-maligned-but-actually-wonderful animals. Her favorite projects to work on are objects that get used (and used up): books, puzzles, toys, and stationery.

Eloise graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration. She has illustrated two board books with Mudpuppy: Be Kind Little One and The Wonderful Book of Wondrous Jobs. In 2024, Eloise was a mentee for PB Rising Stars, a mentorship program for emerging creators in children’s publishing.

Eloise has also worked in the toy industry for over a decade. She designs everything from characters to graphics, and even tiny cardboard accessories.
