Rick Medlin

Rick Medlin is a children's author, computer programmer, and lifelong storyteller. He is the creator of the *Mack and Cheese* series, as well as *A Day with Mrs. Kisses* and *A Day with Mr. Biscuits*, books that celebrate friendship, kindness, adventure, and the special relationships between people and animals.

Before pursuing a career in technology, Rick studied acting and developed a deep appreciation for storytelling, character, and imagination. Today, he combines those passions in his writing, creating engaging stories that entertain young readers while sharing positive messages about compassion, perseverance, and community.

Rick believes that some of life's best lessons can be learned from our animal companions. Whether he's writing about mischievous puppies, lovable pets, or everyday adventures, his goal is to create stories that families enjoy reading together again and again.

When he isn't writing, Rick works as a computer programmer and enjoys exploring animation, technology, and creative projects. He lives in Southern California and is always working on his next story.
