Christopher Hanson

Chris wrote Lily of Our Valley to honor his daughter Christina, son-in-law Brandon, and granddaughter Kayla—and to share their powerful testimony with the world. As Christina's father and Kayla's grandfather, he witnessed their journey of faith firsthand, from devastating medical crisis to radical obedience to supernatural peace.

Chris is a lifelong Christian who experienced a profound spiritual awakening in April 2021. This transformation deepened his understanding of what it means to truly follow Jesus—and helped him recognize the extraordinary faith he'd witnessed in his own family.

He lives in Kentucky with his wife Lupe, their youngest daughter, and four dogs. When he's not writing, Chris works as a software engineer and enjoys spending time with his three daughters and five grandchildren.
