Sharri McGarry M.A.

Sharri McGarry has a master's degree in clinical psychology with a graduate certificate in addiction studies. Her undergrad work included majors in psychology and family & child development, with a minor in sociology/criminology. She worked as an Orthopaedic Clinic Specialist and served as Assistant to the Chief of Orthopaedics at a large hospital system while developing a psychology practice at New Life Clinics.

In 1993 Sharri underwent a life-saving kidney/pancreas transplant which allowed her to marry and have two sons. She eventually retired from her counseling practice and orthopaedic position to homeschool her children from preschool through high school graduation. During that time, she served as a coach and advisor to parents and students in various academic settings. Sharri has a master's level certification in life coaching, a master's diploma in Suicide Prevention, Assessment, Intervention, and Recovery (PAIR) coaching, and many additional area certifications.

Sharri is passionate about learning and about pointing people to Jesus Christ. She is happy to share her testimony with anyone who is open to hearing it!
