Andrea Stefanicova

ArtByAndyOriginal is the creative name of Andrea Stefanicova, a Slovak author, illustrator, and visual artist with a master’s degree in Applied Media Studies. She creates original children’s books filled with heartfelt stories and hand-drawn traditional illustrations, designing each title independently from the first sketch to the final layout. Her books, available in both English only and bilingual Slovak–English editions, guide young readers through themes of friendship, patience, courage, and creativity.

Beyond storytelling, Andrea is an expressive visual artist whose work is rooted in minimalism, emotion, and the quiet power of black and white. She creates graphite and charcoal paintings where every line becomes an imprint of her inner world. Her art is defined by simplicity, contrast, and a deep sense of presence, each piece emerging as a personal meditation captured on canvas. Occasional soft touches of color appear only as gentle accents, breathing subtle life into the depth of the monochrome.
