Taking this Seneca quote to heart allowed me to develop from a long-haired Che Guevara fan to becoming a Goldman partner, Allianz CFO and Chair of the Deutsche Bank Supervisory Board.

Today I am an advocate of effective corporate governance, technological innovation, educational excellence and transatlantic partnership. Passions which I pursue through various board mandates, venture investments, university as well as think tank engagements respectively.

My energy comes from my family and the desire to help creating a sustainable and prosperous future for the next generation.
