James D. Gamble II

James Gamble is a systems engineer and cloud operations manager based in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. With over twenty years in tech, he leads a team focused on AWS infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and making complex systems behave. Born in Dade City, he now lives nearby with his wife Anneke and their three children.

Known for writing eccentric reflections on LinkedIn, James explores cloud architecture, corporate culture, and leadership through metaphors that probably should not work but somehow do. He believes the cloud is more than infrastructure. It is a reflection of how people and processes collide.

Outside of work, James serves as an elder at his church, leads online services, and volunteers with nonprofits, HOA boards, and fandom communities.
