Abraham Pulido has over 35 years of experience in the film and television industry in the United States and Latin America. He has directed more than 85 episodes and films, many of which have been shown to great acclaim on platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, captivating critics and audiences throughout Ibero-America. Some of his most acclaimed works include “Criminal Master Mind,” “Mary for Mayor,” and “The Lucias' Secrets.” Pulido directed the record-breaking box office hit in Latin America, “Punch to the Heart,” which also aired on Netflix and Amazon Prime to great acclaim and was nominated for the GOYA AWARDS. His debut film, “Lily,” won the Best Film award in his country, equivalent to the Academy Award for Best Picture at the time. Throughout his career, Abraham has been honored with more than 80 awards in the film and television industry, receiving nominations at prestigious international events such as the Platino Awards and other renowned festivals. In addition to his work in film, he has directed over 800 multinational commercials, including the multi-award-winning “La Niña De Plumrose,” and has created music videos for renowned Latin artists such as Ricky Martin, Plácido Domingo, Julio Iglesias, Franco De Vita, Chayanne, and Santa Rosa. Notably, Pulido was the first Latino to receive an MTV award. As a multifaceted creator, Abraham has also explored the theatrical realm with great success through his innovative concept “Surprise Theater,” presented at the Spanish Cultural Center in Miami. He has been invited to teach at the International Art Institute of Miami on several occasions and has held prominent positions such as vice president of the Hispanic Independent Producers Association of America (HIPA) and director on the board of the Venezuelan Film Academy for four consecutive years. Additionally, he has served as a jury member at several film festivals, including the Platino Awards, the Produ Awards, and the FIU Horror Film Festival in the United States. Abraham is also a verbal and nonverbal communication coach, helping people improve their expressive skills. Pulido is currently working on the adaptation of a historical novel for a television series produced by Gaumont titled “MORR.” He is also involved in a feature film project in the Dominican Republic in collaboration with Jaime Mayol and Leonora Blanco. His production base is in Miami, United States, where he runs his own company, AM FILMS. He is set to produce and direct a drama film titled “BLOODY MARY CLUB. PUNTA CANA.” Notably, his wife, Mercedes Guzmán, is a renowned art director in the United States.
