R. A. Zoppo

R. A. Zoppo has boxed in Mexico, lifted weights with radioactive dye in his veins, and rebuilt after more than one hard fall. He’s been a Peace Corps Volunteer, real estate developer, roof laborer, and father to three wild and wonderful daughters. He holds a CFA charter, an MBA, and a long-standing habit of charging uphill—even when the odds aren’t great.

Grip It began as a way to stay honest—and stay sane. What started as a handful of vivid memories became something more: a raw record of how we fall, and how we come back stronger.

He lives outside Boston with his wife and kids. When he’s not working on his next project, he’s lifting weights, eating tacos, or reminding someone to smile. He believes in compassion, discipline, and getting back up—every time.
