Kris Splash

Kris Splash is the pen name of Chris Peake, a swimming teacher with over 25 years of experience helping children build confidence in the water. A former competitive swimmer, Chris has taught thousands of families, from toddlers experiencing their first swim to young children developing essential water safety skills.

In 2014 he received a Chief Officer’s Commendation from the West Midlands Ambulance Service after performing CPR alongside a lifeguard he had previously taught to swim as a child.

Through his work in public leisure services he has helped support swimming and water safety for families, while also delivering his own Kris Splash classroom water safety talks for schools.

His work has been featured by the Express & Star and BBC Midlands Today.

Through his books and the Every Splash Matters initiative, he shares a simple belief: every child deserves the chance to make a splash.
