Greg Finch

About the Author

Greg is a gifted writer and award-winning educator whose passion for history and teaching has inspired students for over thirty years. A high school history teacher and university adjunct, Greg has earned widespread recognition for his excellence in the classroom. His accolades include being named Teacher of the Year by Summit Christian Academy (2019), Regional Teacher of the Year by the Great Plains Alliance of Christian Schools (2020), and the only Christian school educator to receive the prestigious Outstanding Teacher of American History award from the Missouri State Society, Daughters of the American Revolution (2022). That same year, he was nationally recognized with the Excellence in Christian Education Award from the Stanley M. Herzog Charitable Foundation. Most recently, in 2024, he was honored with the Smart/Maher Veterans of Foreign Wars National Citizenship Education Teacher Award by VFW Post 5789.

In addition to his academic achievements, Greg was a contributing writer for Devoted Parent (Amazon, 2018), where his inspirational writing and poetry were featured. He has been married to his wife, Pam, for forty years. Together, they have three children—Bethany, Emily, and Jonathan—and are proud grandparents to Jaxon, Alexa, and Aniston.
