N.P. Pollack grew up with a lopsided backpack, an overworked library card, and an unshakeable belief that stories were the closest thing to real magic. As a kid, he devoured every adventure, mystery, and slightly bonkers fantasy he could get his hands on, secretly vowing to one day write the kinds of books that kept him awake under the covers long after lights-out.

Now, as a middle grade author and screenwriter, he’s happily fulfilled that promise, creating stories bursting with humor, heart, and a spark of wild imagination. His films include Joey & Ella: A Kangaroo Tail, The Quest for Tom Sawyer’s Gold, and Ghoster. Whether writing novels or screenplays, Pollack aims for one thing: to make young readers feel the same wonder he once did.
